While myBeeHyve’s contact management product initially started out as a solution to a personal need identified by its founders, it now reflects what the community and its users desire from the platform, officials say.
myBeeHyve, a Wilmington-based startup, launched its product in August 2017 under the leadership of Jennifer Turnage, co-founder and CEO, and Megan Sumrell, co-founder and COO.

Startup Banks On Renewable Energy

The idea to merge cryptocurrency with renewable energy resulted in the formation of KWHCoin, a blockchain-based renewable energy startup in Wilmington. With KWHCoin, renewable energy can be tokenized into a KWHCoin, valued at 1 kilowatt per hour. The company recently finished developing an app that works as an online wallet, where users can see their coin balance and trade, sell and buy energy.
